2 pounds lean ground pork
1 pound ground beef
1 medium onion, chopped
1 1/2 teaspoons salt
3 cups bread crumbs
1/2 teaspoon allspice
1/4 teaspoon sage
1/4 teaspoon cloves or 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
1 1/2 cups water
9" double pie shell*
Simmer covered 1 1/2 hours. Let cool. Put in a 9 inch double crust pie shell, slit. Bake 400°F 10 minutes then 350°F 20 minutes.
