Rhubarb Cake

1 1/2  cups brown sugar
1/2  cup butter
1  egg
2  cups flour
1  teaspoon Baking soda
1/2  teaspoon salt
1  teaspoon vanilla
1  cup sour milk or buttermilk
1 1/2  cup rhubarb cut fine

Mix together and put into a 9 X 13 pan.   Top with the following mixture before baking:

1/3  cup sugar
1  teaspoon orange rind

Bake in oven at 350°F for 45 minutes.
