Chocolate Toffee

1  cup finely chopped nuts - pecans or walnuts
1/2  cup butter or margarine
3/4  cup light brown sugar
1  - 6 oz package chocolate cups

Spread nuts over the bottom of an 8 inch square pan, set aside. Combine the butter and sugar in a saucepan. Bring to a boil, and boil for 7 minutes; stirring constantly. Pour immediately over nuts and let it stand for a few minutes. Spread the chocolate chips over the top and cover with a baking sheet. When the chocolate chips are melted spread over and put it in the refrigerator until chilled. Break into pieces.
