Corn Bread

1  cup all purpose flour
1  cup yellow cornmeal
1  Tablespoon baking powder
1/2  teaspoon salt
3 or 4  Tablespoons sugar (Splenda® Granular
        can be substituted)

Mix all ingredients well and add:

1  egg
3  tablespoons oil
1  cup milk

Put about 3 tablespoon of oil in a large bread pan or iron skillet and heat in oven while oven is preheating. Pour in batter and bake at 400°F for about 20 minutes or until top browns slightly.
