Toll House Marble Squares

cup soft butter or shortening

cup plus 2 Tablespoons flour

Tbsp. packed brown sugar

teaspoon baking soda

Tablespoons sugar

teaspoons salt
1/2
teaspoon vanilla
1/2
cup chopped nuts
1/4
teaspoon water

 6 oz package Nestle® Toll

         House Chocolate chips

Combine butter, sugar, brown sugar vanilla and water, beat until dreamy. Beat in egg. Sift together and blend in flour, baking soda and salt. Stir in nuts. Spread in greased 9 X 13 pan. Sprinkle Chocolate chips over the top of the dough. Bake at 375°F for 1 minute. Remove from oven run knife through dough to marbleize. Return to oven. Bake at 375°F for 12 to 14 minutes. Cool, cut into 2 inch squares.
