Cranberry Bread

cups flour

Tablespoons melted butter
1 1/2
teaspoons baking powder

Tablespoons hot water
1/2
teaspoon salt
Grated rind of 2 oranges
1/2
teaspoon baking soda
1/2
cup orange juice
1/2
cup sugar
1/2
cup chopped nuts
1
egg, well beaten
1
cup raw cranberries, chopped

Sift dry ingredients.  Combine egg, butter, water, rind and juice.  Stir into dry ingredients.  Stir in nuts and cranberries.  Turn into greased loaf pan 4 1/2 X 7 1/2 X 2 1/2. Bake in oven at 350°F for 50 minutes. Makes 1 loaf.
